Although described as the Hall Modernisation "project", it is in fact several inter-linked projects which all add up to a comprehensive modernisation of the Hall and facilities.

by raising internal floors to provide level access to all key facilities.

Installation of showers in toilet area to support use as community emergency centre

Larger combined kitchen & bar with new energy efficient cookers and increased storage space

More space to store furniture & equipment for hall and regular user groups

New lighting systems
providing both primary (ambient) and secondary (mood) lighting to support different user needs

New Audio Visual facilities
to encourage new and different uses of the hall e.g. film nights, presentations, business & training seminars
